I worked with a designer friend for about a year launching an iOS app for Video Q&A with influencers. We got about 150 influencers signed up, but could not get meaningful traction and shut the business.

I am very interested in the future of work. I think the current paradigm of always on Slack and email cannot continue. I have tried building tools for this, but have not created anything I think is significantly better enough than the status quo.

I looked into various ways to incorporate public filings, proprietary research, trading data, and other sources to build a Vertical SaaS product for asset managers. The last step was looking into incorporating LLMs / GPT4 for additional automation.

During the pandemic everyone was day trading. I spent a couple months building a fantasy stock picking app where you could create weekly competitions to pick stocks with your friends. It did not work.

While Clubhouse was popular I thought there was an opportunity for new async audio formats. I learned about incorporating live and recorded audio into a mobile app, which was interesting. I tested a beta with some friends and ultimately decided to move on.
